Brother Lance and his wife served for 7 years in the country of Papua New Guinea. There they saw hundreds come to know the Lord. They established several churches that are still going strong today with national pastors. Since his return from Papua New Guinea, Bro. Lance has been a missionary to the prisons. He is currently serving as missionary chaplain at MacDougall Correctional Institution in Ridgeville, South Carolina. He uses this opportunity to daily preach the gospel, to hold regular Bible studies for the inmates and to witness from cell to cell. Many have trusted the Lord thru this ministry.

Apart from incarceration, the MacDougall Correctional Institution also offers several programs to improve the inmate in several ways, including health, skills, and even spiritually.
The MacDougall Correctional Institution has substance abuse treatment programs for offenders under drug addiction. Apart from this, the facility also offers individual and group counseling, anger management, life skill education, and pre-release programs to help the offender assimilate into society after their sentences are served.
The MacDougall Correctional Institution also offers GED and diploma opportunities for inmates willing to continue with their education.
