Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ; I trust you all had a happy Thanksgiving.
In our last prayer letter I had asked for prayers for two Revival meetings we were going to hold at two different prisons, one in North Carolina and one in South Carolina. The first meeting was at Lincoln Correctional. We had three great services with the altars full each night and one man asking the Lord to save him. The second meeting was at Livesay Corrections, where I volunteer as a Chaplain. This meeting was a five day meeting, which also had great services and men on the altar each night getting help from the Lord. Weeks after the meeting, I am still having some of the men at the prison coming and talking to me about what the Lord is doing in their hearts and lives as a result of the meeting.
I would like to ask you to pray for some special Christmas services that we will be having at Livesay Corrections in the month of December. At these services we have churches come into the institution and feed the men a home cooked meal and have a church service along with it. We always have the singing and preaching before we have the food. There will be men who will come to these services that will not normally come to a church service. While I realize that some of these men are only coming for the meal, it is a good opportunity for them to hear God’s Word preached, which God said in Isaiah would not return unto Him void but would accomplish that which He pleases. It also shows these men that it is the born-again Christians, the Church, who cares enough about these men to come and spend some time with them and feed them. You will not find another group who cares for these men in this way. My prayer is that they will realize that they will not find any other person like Jesus who cares for them like He does. He not only gave of His time for them but He gave His life for them.
In closing, as always, thank you for your faithfulness in giving and prayers. I pray that you all have a very Merry Christmas and if there is ever a time when you would like for us to come by your church to give an update on the ministry, preach, or even do a Missions Conference, please let us know; our contact information is on the left side of our prayer letter. You can also visit our website, which is listed at the bottom of this letter.
